I loved the Wonderland Express! I could actually see everything whether I was sitting in the stroller or standing with the girls. I had a great time and absolutely loved playing with the fake snow. I was not a fan of my giant puffy coat...mostly because it's still a little big  and I was stuffed in there. I guess it's something I will just have to get used to.

Yay! I'm finally big enough to play here...well sort of. There is a lot I still can't reach yet, but I did get to practice my standing, balancing in a saucer, and looking at my handsome reflection!

I'm An Undefeated Champion!

So, my first Halloween was quite a success. I was in two costume contests. Even though my costume was more or less to match Magda ( The Queen of Hearts) and Clara (Alice) I came out on top. The first costume contest was at Daley Plaza where I won Best Costume for 1 and under. Then I made my way down to the Beverly Country Club where I took first prize OUT OF EVERYONE!!!!! Most of who were my cousins! As for the actual day of Halloween, I wouldn't say it was amazing. I can't walk...so I can't trick or treat. I only have one tooth...so I can't eat candy. I just rode around in the stroller. I'm already thinking about next year. I really set the bar high winning at every contest, so I am going to have to step it up a notch next year.

Just as I am getting the hang of sitting (with very good posture I might add) I thought I'd try my hand...or legs at standing. It was long shot, I admit, but I did it. Nevermind it was only for maybe 10 seconds. Premie, my little chunky backside....I am amazing if I do say so myself. No one will ever know I arrived too soon. I'm already as big as Magda when she was 1 year old! Here are some photos of my triumphs today!

I loved the zoo today! I haven't really been old enough yet to enjoy it...not that I'm old by any means but at least I can sit up and see all the animals. I loved watching the sea lions the most. Hopefully by the next time we go I can stand holding onto the railings and really get an up close look at all the animals.

I Love My Tummy Time

5 Months Old!

Well folks, I made it to 5 months old! Can you believe that it's been that long since I graced everyone with my handsome little presence? I have some news for all of you. As you can see from my pictures I am a very happy baby. That's probably because I am able to sit in bumbo now AND sit/stand in my exersaucer. I have very strong legs and I love to stand (with help of course). I am weighing in at 16.6 pounds these days and it's no wonder why. I am eating baby food! I currently enjoy oatmeal, beans, carrots, squash, and most recently, apples. Yes I know it's nothing to brag about but I don't a very diverse palette so these food suit me just fine. I am developing very well and I am very much on par with my fully gestated peers. On that development note, I am also rolling over! I mostly go from my back to front, but not always successful. I've got one arm that just doesn't want to cooperate with my rolling over needs and I get stuck on top of it. Those are all the new updates for now! Pool Day

After spending three weeks in Hilton Head I am loving the pool more then before. I love to bob in the water and relax. We went swimming yesterday and had a great time splashing around in the water. I took a two hour nap after I was done, it wiped me out!

Luca- 4 months old

just a hello

I'm just shy of 4 months...can you believe it?!?! I am full of smiles now and I can hold my head up in bumbo for a good amount of time. I am also sleeping well at night. I try to give mommy 5-6 hours of straight sleep and I usually do!! I am awake more during the day and I love watching Magda and Clara run around. I especially love sitting by the screen door with a nice breeze and looking up at the blowing leaves in the trees. I could do that all day. I am also starting to like being on my tummy. I give it at least 10 mins now instead of 10 seconds. So, I think of that as progress.

I'm am growing so fast! everyone is shocked how much I weigh already! I have been doing really well with my development and I can hold my head up well enough to try out my BUMBO for short periods of time. I also think I look pretty awesome in my new hat.

Luca- 2 Month Update

I'm So Strong!

I am now officially not "negative" in age. My due date passed so I guess I am now a real newborn. From my last post you can see I dress to impress, but I also have some serious muscles. My head/neck muscles are doing great! I had to fit in the "G" of my GTL sooner or later. I better start on those muscles now to get my beach body ready for the summer. Back to my progress... anytime I am on my tummy or someone's chest I lift that little head of mine and look around the world. Here are a few pictures of my big accomplishment.

No more wuss premie clothes for me!! I'm in newborn size and I am ready to let my inner baby style out. I don't know which direction I'll go in, but I seem to pull off this punk look really well. 

Egg Dying

Hey folks! I haven't done much since my last post. I did go to the doctor for a check up and I am 7 pounds 1 oz!!!! I am the size of a regular newborn! The doctor said I am doing great. I still don't like to poop as much as I should, but it doesn't seem to be a great concern yet. I mean, would you want to sit in your own poop? Perhaps I'll just start potty training as soon as I can sit up. I am also very strong. If I am on my tummy, or on someone's chest I lift my head very easily and look at the world around me. For someone who everyone thought would be a tiny little guy for awhile, I am developing quite nicely...if I do say so myself. 

Magda is giving me the low down on the operations of the Nolan household. As of right now we are allies in this place. I am sure the status will change frequently through the years, but for now we are best buds. She will be bigger then me for quite awhile, so I feel it's in my best interest to listen to her, even if she is in my personal space bubble. 

I wish I could say more about my life but it's as simple as it gets. I sleep, I eat, and I poop. And when I don't poop I'm gassy. My "gaga" came to visit me yesterday for the first time since I was back in my studio. I was, of course, a perfect little prince. My sister is still in love with me. Kind of makes mom feel a bit like chopped liver. No matter what, if I'm in the room I am the center of Magda's little world. And why wouldn't I be? Have you seen me???? Since I don't do much as previously stated, you are stuck with a picture of me sleeping, and a close of my little hand. Enjoy. 

Just wanted to show everyone that I really do stay awake sometimes. It's not long, or often but I am starting to get interested in my surroundings. 

Luca's First 3 Weeks

Funny Story

Well folks, I'm home and loving it. I had my first doctor's appointment and I am 5 lbs 2 oz. Everything checked out over there. I have also had lots of visitors coming to see little ol' me. As you saw in the post before Magda just loves me, and announces "baby" every time she sees me. I hope she grows out of that as we get older or I'll have some words to call her too. So, I just have to share a funny story with you. Today was a normal day of eating, sleeping, pooping, and peeing...emphasis on the peeing. Mom was changing my diaper and that darn cold air made it's way to my little man parts and I just couldn't control myself. All I heard was "oh no, oh no, oh no, it's getting on my couch." With that, my nanny came in to see what the trouble was and laughing was all either of them could do. I have to admit, I would be impressed to see a five foot stream coming from little man parts my size. No harm done, it was all cleaned up and we moved on with our day. Tomorrow  I'll try for the coffee table in front of the couch. Hey, you got to aim high in life...no pun intended....

Day 13

These days I'm just eating, pooping, and sleeping. My family managed to snap a few moments while I was sleeping. I must have been dreaming! My face goes from pouty, to happy. I wonder if I dreamt I was gassy (Pout Face), and then had a nice BM (Happy Face). Not much make s a newborn happy besides eating and pooping, so thats a pretty believeable dream for me to have. As you can see I also no longer have anything up my nose due to my incredible appetite.
